Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
Welcome to Rwanda! Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our guide/driver and transferred to your hotel, just 20 minutes away.

Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park and Community Tour
After a hearty breakfast at 9:00 AM, embark on a scenic drive to Akagera National Park, taking approximately three hours. Once you complete the park registration, enjoy lunch at Rhino lodge. At 2:00 PM, join a community tour to gain insight into local life through activities such as milking, beekeeping, and traditional Rwandan practices. After tis experience head to lodge for check in followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive and Night Game Drive
Set out early at 7:0 AM for a full-day game drive, exploring the park from south to north. This is your chance to spot the Big Five and a variety of other wildlife. After returning to the lodge around 4:00 PM, prepare for an exciting night game drive starting at 5:30 PM, where you may encounter nocturnal creatures such as leopards, hyenas, and lions. Overnight at Akagera Game Lodge.

Day 4: Boat Cruise, Day Game Drive, and Transfer to Kigali

• Booking Confirmation: A 70% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining 30% must be paid 30 days before the tour start date. For bookings made within 30 days of the tour, full payment is required.
• Cancellation & Refund Policy: Cancellations must be sent via email to Thinko Tours and Travels. Refunds will be processed less cancellation fees:
  • 30% cancellation fee if canceled 30 days or more before the arrival date
  • 50% cancellation fee if canceled between 16 and 30 days before the arrival date
  • 100% cancellation fee if canceled within 15 days of the arrival date
• Refunds will be processed to the original payment account and mode. No refunds are provided for no-shows.
