Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Rwanda

• Arrive in Kigali, where our friendly guide will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Relax and prepare for the exciting adventure ahead!  distance from the airport to the hotel: around 20 minutes

Day 2: Scenic Drive to Nyungwe National Park & Canopy Walk

• Embark on a scenic drive to Nyungwe National Park, passing through Rwanda’s picturesque landscapes with a stopover en route. Upon arrival, registration will be done, followed by a lunch in the restaurant located near the reception. After you will embark on a thrilling canopy walk and witness the rainforest from above—an experience like no other! The distance from Kigali to Nyungwe is 230 km (approx. 5-6 hours driving).

After that experience you will proceed with check in at your selected the hotel / lodge.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking & Tea Plantation Tour

Rise early for an exhilarating chimpanzee trekking adventure through the forest, where you’ll encounter primates and vibrant bird species. After lunch, take a relaxing tour of the local tea plantations and learn about Rwanda’s famous tea production. It will be an opportunity of learning how tea in Rwanda is grown and processed.

Day 4: Waterfall Trail & Return to Kigali

Begin your day with 3 hours trek to a stunning waterfall (going and back), where you’ll spot monkeys and learn about the forest’s diverse flora. After lunch, you will return to Kigali, reflecting on your incredible journey.

Day 5: Kigali City Tour & Departure

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Booking Confirmation:
To confirm your booking, a 70% deposit is required. The remaining 30% must be paid 30 days before the tour start date. For bookings made within 30 days, full payment is required.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Cancellations must be emailed to Thinko Tours and Travels. Refunds are subject to the following cancellation fees:

• 30% if canceled 30 days or more prior to the arrival date
• 50% if canceled between 16 and 30 days prior
• 100% if canceled within 15 days or less

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method. No refunds for no-shows.
