Embark on an exhilarating 4-day wildlife adventure in Rwanda, exploring the breathtaking Akagera National Park. Nestled in the eastern part of Rwanda, Akagera is home to an array of wildlife, including the Big Five—lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos—as well as giraffes, zebras, antelopes, birds, and hippos. The park’s diverse landscapes, including rolling hills, plains, and ten lakes, make it one of Rwanda’s most stunning destinations. Enjoy a range of activities, including thrilling game drives and serene boat cruises on Lake Ihema.

Day 1: Welcome to Rwanda!

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, our guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for the night. The drive from the airport to the hotel takes approximately 20 to 25 minutes.

Day 2: Journey to Akagera National Park for half and night game drive

After a packed breakfast at the hotel, depart at 7 AM for Akagera National Park, a drive of approximately 3 hours. After registration and a briefing at the park reception, enjoy a half-day game drive with opportunities to spot animals such as giraffes, buffaloes, impalas, zebras, topis, and elephants. Return to the lodge for check-in, lunch, and relaxation.

In the evening at 5:30 PM, embark on a night game drive. This is a fantastic chance to see nocturnal animals like leopards, hyenas, and lions, which are more active at night.

Day 3: Full-Day Adventure with boat cruise and transfer to kigali

Start your day with a boat cruise on Lake Ihema, known as the second-largest lake in Rwanda and a hotspot for hippos. Learn about the symbiotic relationships between hippos and crocodiles, and observe various aquatic birds.

After the boat cruise, enjoy a full-day game drive, traveling from the southern part of the park to the northern region. Spot the Big Five and other wildlife, such as zebras and numerous antelope species, amidst the park’s scenic landscapes of rolling hills, lakes, and swamps.

In the evening, return to Kigali for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Kigali City Tour and Departure

After breakfast and check-out, explore Kigali during the city tour scheduled for this day. Shop for souvenirs and visit key landmarks. After lunch, your driver will transfer you to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight

Terms & Conditions:

Booking Confirmation: To confirm your booking, a deposit of 70% of the total tour cost is required. The remaining 30% must be paid 30 days before the tour start date. If booking within 30 days of the tour start date, full payment is required.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

• Cancellation fee of 30% if canceled more than 30 days before the tour start date.
• Cancellation fee of 50% if canceled between 16 and 30 days before the tour start date.
• Cancellation fee of 100% if canceled 15 days or less before the tour start date.

Refunds will be processed to the same account and using the same payment method as the original payment. Note that no refunds will be issued for no-shows.
