Day 1: Arrival – Overnight in Kigali

Arrival: Meet and greet by our representative at the airport.

7:00 PM: Drive to the hotel for check-in and briefing by your host/guide.

8:00 PM: Dinner at the hotel.

Optional: Early arrivals can explore the city.

Accommodation: mille collines/ chez lando and Kigali Marriot hotel.

Day 2: City Tour and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

8:00 AM: Breakfast at the hotel.

9:00 AM: Begin city tour of Kigali, including visits to key sites.

12:00 PM: Lunch in Kigali.

1:00 PM: Scenic drive to Musanze, with stops along the way for photos and learning about local life.

4:00 PM: Visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Diana Fossey Gorilla Fund.

6:00 PM: Check-in at your hotel in Musanze.

Trekking Duration: 3-6 hours, depending on the movement of the gorillas.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Trek – Transfer to Kigali

Trekking Duration: 2-3 hours.

Return to Hotel: Late morning return and lunch at the hotel

1:00 PM: Departure for Kigali.

4:00 PM: Arrival in Kigali, with time for a brief city exploration or relaxation.

6:00 PM: Dinner in Kigali.

8:00 PM: Transfer to the airport for departure.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Booking Confirmation

To confirm a booking, a deposit of 70% of the total cost of the tour is required. And the balance of 30% has to be paid 30 days before the tour start date. If the booking is being confirmed within 30 days to the tour start date, then the total tour cost should be paid in full.

 

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Any cancellation must be done via the email of Thinko Tours and Travels, and the cancellations for paid bookings will be refunded less the cancellation fees for administration cost and other costs as below:

You understand and accept when booking through us that you are bound by our supplier’s terms and conditions and accordingly any policies they may have on cancellation charges.

• Cancellation fee of 30% if the tour is cancelled within 30 days and above prior to the arrival date;
• Cancellation fee of 50% if the tour is cancelled between 16 and 30 days prior to the arrival date;
• Cancellation fee of 100% if the tour is cancelled within 15 days and less prior to the arrival date;
• Payment for Gorilla Permits is nonrefundable.

The refund will be done to the same account and using the same mode which was used for the payments. Note that there is no refund in the event of a no show for the existing reservations.
