Nyungwe National Park is excited to announce the opening of its newest walking trail, the Cyinzobe Trail. This multi-day hiking trail is a great way to explore the beauty of the park and immerse yourself in nature. The Cyinzobe Trail is a challenging hike that takes you through some of the most stunning landscapes in Nyungwe National Park. The trail is approximately 20 kilometers long and takes three days to complete, with two nights spent camping in the park.

The hike starts at the Uwinka Visitor Center and takes you through the lush rainforest, past beautiful waterfalls, and over steep ridges with breathtaking views. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to spot some of the park’s incredible wildlife, including chimpanzees, monkeys, and a variety of bird species.
