The 4 days trip in Rwanda for wildlife adventure will allow you to visit the Akagera National Park located in the Eastern side of Rwanda which is a home of different animals whose the Big Five Animals. Its landscapes, hills and 10 lakes make the Akagera National Park one of the beautiful parks recommendable for visit.

4 Days highlights Rwanda Wildlife Experience

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali

Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park + game drive and boat cruise

Day 3: Full day game drive in Akagera National Park

Day 4: Departure to the Airport 

Day1: Welcome to Rwanda!

You will be picked up by our guide/driver when you arrive at the Kigali International Airport who will transfer you to your hotel where you will spend the night. Distance from airport to hotel: 20 minutes.

Accommodation: Chez Lando Hotel / Mille Collines / Serena Hotel

Day 2: Drive to home of big five (Akagera National Park) – Day and night game drive + boat cruise

Breakfast at the hotel, the driver guide will take you to Akagera National park and the drive will take about 2.5 hours.

After registration at the park reception, you will drive to Lake Ihema for a morning boat cruise.  Ihema lake is known to be the second largest lake in Rwanda after Kivu lake and famous lakes in East Africa to have large concentrations of hippos.

During this experience, you will learn the symbiotic relationship between hippos and crocodiles as well as aquatic birds.

After this great experience you will be taken back to the reception for a briefing before starting a half day game drive in Akagera National Park (5 hours). This half game drive will start from the south of the park with the chance of seeing some animals like giraffes, buffalos, impala, zebras, topi, elephant, after game drive you will be taken to the hotel for check -in and overnight.

At 5:30 PM the park car and the guide will pick you up from the Hotel for starting the night game drive which is a nice opportunity for spotting the animals normally rare to see during the day like leopard, hyena, even lions which are more active during the night.

Day 3:  Adventure full day game drive

This full day adventure game drive will start from the southern part of the park and end at north.

During this adventure game drive you will be lucky to spot some of the big five animals like lions, elephants, buffalos, Rhinos and leopards. Large number of zebras and many antelope species will be spotted along road sides. The beautiful sceneries of rolling hills, plains, lakes, swamps will give an idea of the uniqueness of Akagera National Park. Overnight at Karenge Bush Camp

Day 4: Transfer to Kigali for departure

After breakfast at the hotel, an assist check out will be done and the journey towards Kigali and your driver guide will drive you to the airport for your departure Flight.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Payment Policy

• An advance of 80% is required at the time of booking. The balance or final payment of 20% is due at arrival in Kigali after checking in at the hotel;
• If the reservation is made within 45 days prior to the arrival date, full payment is required at the time of booking;
• In case payment is done by debit / credit card, additional fee of 3% is required;
• The copy of proof of payment required and sent to the company’s business email (info@thinkotours.com) in order to confirm the booking.

Cancellation Policy

In the event that you decide to cancel a trip after booking it, certain cancellation charges will be payable to our supplier as your payments are immediately used to obtain lodging, tours and services at the best rates.

You understand and accept when booking through us that you are bound by our supplier’s terms and conditions and accordingly any policies they may have on cancellation charges.

• Cancellation fee of 25% if the trip is cancelled less than 90 days prior to the arrival;
• Cancellation fee of 50% if the trip is cancelled less than 60 days prior to the arrival;
• Cancellation fee of 100% if the trip is cancelled less than 45 days prior to the arrival;
• Payment for Gorilla Permits is nonrefundable.
