Description
Umuko Lodge is Located in Rwamagana, 41 km from Kigali, this place is good for recreation and relaxing, it will allow you to do different activates, billiard ball, kayaking and swimming sports. You will have a visit at Imigingo Arts Center where you will buy souvenirs and more about Imigongo and diferent arts. You will proceed and assist check- in at Umuko lodge where you will spend your night.
At 9 AM, you will embark your journey from Kigali to Imigongo Arts Center, try your hand at traditional Rwandan art when you take this Imigongo painting class during your time in Kigali. Join a small group and learn about Imigongo, a form of traditional Rwandan art that was first created using cow dung. In this class, you’ll be using paint instead of cow dung, but still creating the classic geometric shapes that characterize the art style to make your own masterpiece where you will buy souvenirs of different art things.
After lunch at Imigongo Arts Center and Coffee you will continue the trip to Umuko Lodge for check in and free time (swimming and billiard).
KAYAKING OR BOAT CRUISE
For the second day of the tour, you will do Kayaking as fun activity that involves moving through water in a small water vessel with the aid of a double-bladed paddle. It allows the boat driver to maneuver through waterways by sitting face-forward and propelling ahead with alternating side-to-side paddle strokes. There is an option of choosing boat cruise in place of kayaking.
SWIMMING
After kayaking or boat cruise in Muhazi Lake, you will have your last activity which is swimming as recreation and sports, the propulsion of the body through water by combined arm and leg motions and the natural flotation of the body.
After lunch at Umuko Lodge, it will be time for coming back to Kigali.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Payment Policy
- Deposit of 80% is required at the time of booking. The balance or final payment of 20% is due at the day of the tour, before leaving Kigali;
- In case payment is done by debit / credit card, additional fee of 3% is required;
- The copy of proof of payment required and sent to the company’s business email (info@thinkotours.com) in order to confirm the booking.
Cancellation Policy
In the event that you decide to cancel a trip after booking it, certain cancellation charges will be payable to our supplier as your payments are immediately used to obtain lodging, tours and services at the best rates.
You understand and accept when booking through us that you are bound by our supplier’s terms and conditions and accordingly any policies they may have on cancellation charges.
- Cancellation fee of 25% if the trip is cancelled less than 90 days prior to the arrival;
- Cancellation fee of 50% if the trip is cancelled less than 60 days prior to the arrival;
- Cancellation fee of 100% if the trip is cancelled less than 45 days prior to the arrival;
- Payment for Gorilla Permits is nonrefundable.
